Stone Dogs were delighted to be a part of Christopher Ward’s first TV campaign. The process of filming has been turned on its head by the Covid-19 lockdown, bringing a whole host of unique and complex challenges. With steely determination Greg Jordan from Beehive managed to secure a location(an empty office in his building), set up a motion control rig and an 8K RED with an assortment of Marco lenses.
Greg Jordan said, “Shooting in macro needs precision equipment as any shake on the camera is magnified to earthquake proportions, not being in a studio meant the office floor was alive to the extent that when we did a take we all had to stand still and the DOP operating the camera even held his breath”. For Stone Dogs Post it was our first big challenge since working remotely. With a tight deadline and a huge amount of data we colour graded, dust busted and composited our hearts out. It was intense, but we had a lot of fun along the way.
