Saturday

Short film

April 15th 1989. One game of football is about to affect Liam and the city of Liverpool forever.

SATURDAY is a fictional account of how the Hillsborough stadium disaster – which claimed the lives of 96 Liverpool supporters – unfolded for one family back home in Merseyside.

We worked with director Mike Forshaw and producer Jessica Levik from Magnified Pitcures Ltd on this a few years ago, but it was delayed in the UK during the Hillsborough inquiry. Time hasn't  limited it's impact as a thoughtfull, caring and poweful bit of film making. The attention to detail to keep the look and feel of that day in 1989 is to be commened.  We completed the online at Rushes which including set extensions, comping  and titles.  I'm glad to be able to share it after all this time.
