On December 8th our co-founder Brian Carbin spoke on a leadership panel for World VFX day. Topics were widely discussed and there was a lot of cautious optimism at the event.

From our side, we've seen a definite uptick in projects being awarded since January. More briefs, more quotes, and definitely more confidence from clients. But I'm not naive about it. Industry friends across post, VFX, and production are still seeing a very uneven landscape. It feels like there is activity, but the ground underneath is still a bit shaky.

The event was a great success reaching a large audience over the youtube live stream with good engagement from the audience and insightful peaks into the inner workings of what it's like to run a successful independent post production studio from all of the panelists.

Thanks to all the other panelists and especially to Hayley Miller for hosting the panel and organising everything for World VFX Day shining a light on the artistry, hard work and dedication of the VFX industry.
