Nordstrom Rack's Summer campaign demanded a visual approach that could stand confidently on its own while remaining connected to the wider seasonal platform. Produced as part of a five-day shoot that also captured Mother's Day, Father's Day and Fall creative, the project required careful planning from the outset. Stone Dogs provided VFX and grade for the campaign, helping establish the design and behaviour of the CG screens that would carry messaging throughout key moments.
Some of the most complex VFX work centred on the diving sequences, which required extensive multi-plate compositing. Forward-moving elements were carefully aligned and time-warps keyframed to maintain smooth, natural motion while preserving the pace and energy of the edit. CG screens were then integrated into the environments to seamlessly deliver messaging within each scene.
Colour grading played an important role in defining the bright, energetic feel of the Summer campaign while maintaining consistency across the wider campaign platform. The final grade balances vibrancy and sophistication, bringing warmth and energy to the imagery while retaining a premium, contemporary finish.
