The realisation of this financial regret hits them at unfortunate moments; playing on their mind, catching them when they least expect it, and leaving them with a gormless, glazed expression. A thousand-yard stare. These characters may be in the scene physically, but mentally they’re a million miles away. Others around them react to their absent mindedness with subtle bemusement. This dawning realisation of regret is sound tracked by the dramatic Henry Purcell- What Power Art Though, over the top of a montage of beautifully composed slow-motion scenes.
